How should I determine the relative tolerance?
Hi
I know that for the time dependent problems, the absolute tolerance should be determined according to the minimum value of dependent variable. But I have no idea about the relative tolerance. I looked up COMSOL documents but I couldn't find out how to determine the relative tolerance . I have a convection/diffusion problem and the absolute tolerance should be around 1e-11. How should I determine the relative tolerance? It is worth mentioning that if I decrease the relative tolerance down to 1e-5, the solution time will significantly increase.
