The AC/DC Module is appropriate for modeling static, transient, and sinusoidally time-varying electromagnetic fields. This course is a comprehensive introduction to the AC/DC Module and its usage for the modeling of resistive, capacitive, and inductive devices in addition to modeling magnets, forces, and motion. You will learn how to build models for electrostatic, magnetostatic and low frequency AC applications. You will also learn how to extract lumped electrical parameters from the model and augment these full-fidelity models by connecting them to a simple electrical circuit network model. This course allows current and potential users of COMSOL Multiphysics and the AC/DC Module to quickly get acquainted with its modeling capabilities.

This course assumes an electrical engineering background and familiarity with Maxwell's Equations. We strongly recommend that those new to COMSOL Multiphysics take the COMSOL Multiphysics Intensive Training course prior to attending this class.
Swapnil completed his Masters degree from IIT Bombay specializing in Power Electronics and Power Systems. He has been working with COMSOL Multiphysics as part of the Technical Support team since June 2013.
The fee for this one-day course is Rs. 5,000 per person (excluding taxes). Lunch and refreshments during the morning and afternoon breaks are included. Attendees will need to bring their own laptop to participate in the training course.
