step function in 3.5

Hello!
How can i give as a heat source a step input.
In particular, i want my heat source to go to zero after some time but i cannot find the step function.

Hi,

you can use something like Q*(t<t0). Q is the heat source, t0 is the switch-off time. This is a sharp step. If you want to smooth the step, use the flsmhs function. It is in the documentation.
