How to call the sound speed in material in Global Definitions (Parameters)?

Dear all,

I would like to create a geometry which the dimension is dependent on the speed of sound. I try to set a dimension in terms of root.mod1.mat1.def.c; however, it does not work. Do you know how to call the speed of sound in COMSOL?

Thanks and best regards,
S.K.

Hi

accessing the material properties is slihtly tricky, and if you change something int he materials, there are a fair chance that your link will change too. So "my way" is to simply define a Parameter and copy the numerical value in there, it's easier to control

Good luck
