Multi-step resolution and resetting to initial condition on the fly

Hi everyone,

I am trying to simulate the temperature an object that is submitted to a cyclic sequence where it comes in contact with different objects at different times.

For example:
1: 0 to 1 sec: free convection
2: 1 to 2 sec: in contact with object 1
3: 2 to 3 sec: free convection
4: 3 to 4 sec: in contact with object 2
5: 4 to 5 sec: free convection
6: 5 to 6 sec: in contact with object 1 - but object 1 starts at its initial temperature and not the one that he ended with during step 2
etc ... for several cycles

Does anyone have an experience on how this can be achieved?

Thank you for your help
