Variables in "Equation View"

Are the equations and expressions listed in "Equation View" are a kind of documentation, or Comsol really use them in calculations?

For example (argon_dbd_1d model):
Diffusive flux vector for Ar+ species is defined as (in section "Species: Ar+"->"Equation View"):
dc.jx_wAr_1p =
-dc.rho*dc.wAr_1p*dc.z_wAr_1p*dc.um_wAr_1p*d(dc.V,x)

But in "Plasma Model 1" -> "Equation View" the same variable is defined as:
dc.jx_wAr_1p =
-dc.rho*dc.Dm_wAr_1p*d(dc.wAr_1p,x) -dc.rho*dc.wAr_1p*dc.Dm_wAr_1p*d(dc.Mn,x)/dc.Mn -dc.Tflux_x_wAr_1p

The 1st expression is electroforetic flux, the 2d seemed to be correct.
Wich equation are used for calculation? Can I obtain the full set of such equations?

Why Weak Expressions for Ar+ don't include electroforetic flux?
