How to keep flux inputs after a union?

I'm modeling drug release from a drug-eluting stent into tissue and blood. I have three separate components currently, one representing the blood, one the tissue, and one the stent. I'm modeling drug transport using transport of a diluted species. The stent is supposed to be completely coated in the drug, and I've clicked every face on the stent to represent that for the flux. When I go to union the stent, tissue, and blood together, however, the fluxes that I had previously clicked go away. I'm not sure how to union the objects while maintaining the desired physics for each material.
