Variable heat capacity

Hi!

I have measured Cp for metal alloy. It has significant temperature dependence. Is it possible to use Cp(T) instead of constant Cp for transient heat transfer problems?

Thanks!

Hi
Ccertainly, if you look carefully in the default materials there should be some with T and others even with pA dependence of the material properties.
You add an imported interpolation function (under the maerial node) to mimic your Cp(T) dependece, just be sure you get the SI units correct

When you have added your material to your model, and finme tuned it, you might save it in your own "private" material library for laer retrival

Good luck
