Researching with the Heat Transfer Module
The Heat Transfer Module supplies modeling interfaces for general heat transfer, heat transfer in thin layers and shells, non-isothermal and turbulent flow, surface-to-surface radiation, and heat transfer in live tissue. Among its features are:

Convective cooling of the electronic components in an amplifier.
- Unlimited multiphysics couplings—You can fully couple heat transfer with other physics phenomena, for example fluid mechanics, structural mechanics, or electromagnetic fields
- Equation-based modeling—Allows the possibility to define properties, sources and sinks, and couplings as arbitrary functions of the modeled variables, such as in the modeling of phase transfer
- Material Library—A large material library of heat transfer properties is available within the Heat Transfer Module. Additionally included are temperature-dependent equations that describe the heat transfer coefficients from surfaces due to flow for a number of conditions and fluids
