System requirements for COMSOL 54

HI,

does anyone know the system requirements for COMSOl 54?

I have a new computer and comsol 54 doesn't open....

It gives me the following error:

2019-07-19T08:32:01.292+02:00 Could not load file or assembly 'JavaBridge.dll' or one of its dependencies. COMSOL 51 opens fine though.

Hi Alex,

you can find the system requirements for COMSOL Multiphysics 5.4 here: https://www.comsol.de/system-requirements

It can also depend on which license type you use. If your license is a CPU license, this is bound to your old computer. In this case it is neccessary to get a new license.dat for the new computer. But this is only possible, when your license is under subscription. Therefore please contact license@comsol.com and send us your license number to get further assistance.

Hi Jan,

Yes I have checked that and my computer passess it all. Maybe I don't have the latest .NET framework or microsoft C++? Is there a specific version required to run 5.4? As I said, 5.1 works fine. It seems that I am missing some .dll files on my new computer.....
