superimposed signal as Coil excitation and Study in Frequency Domain

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi all,

i have an 2D axisymmetric coil Model (like one from the comsol model library "inductive_heating") which i am trying to excite by an external input signal. This external signal is overlay of two harmonic signals. If i have only one time-harmonic signal as exitation of the coil, i can do a Frequency-Transient or Frequency Domain Study where i can define the frequency and then solve whitout a problem.

Do you know if there is a way to do a Frequency-Transient Study (or a Frequency Domain Study) if my input is an superimposed signal eg. sin(omega1*t)-sin(omega2*t)?

Thanks,
Denis
