Is it possible to obtain the radiative heat flux from the top surface of a layer of participating medium?

Hello All,

I am new to COMSOL and I am trying to simulate radiation through a participating medium using the physics of RPM from the heat transfer module in COMSOL.

I am able to run this simulation successfully, but I am not sure how to obtain the value of the radiative heat flux leaving the domain from the top surface of the participating medium (I have attached a schematic, and the mph file for a better understanding of the problem). I believe that the variable qr_net available in the results section gives the radiative heat flux incident on the top surface, and not the value of heat flux leaving the surface. Is my understanding correct? Can someone suggest how I can obtain the value of the heat flux leaving through the top surface? Any help with this will be much appreciated.

Thank you very much in advace. Mikhil.
