Two phase Phase field method

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,

I am using a phase field method to tract the meniscus formation at the exit of a micron size nozzle and at the same time air is flowing over the meniscus. I am having some problems with the solution, when i use real values of the viscosities i.e (0.007Pa.s and 2e-5Pa.s) for the two fluids i get no solution at all, however when i increase the values of the viscosities by 100 i get physically meaningful results but if i increase them by only 10 i can not observe any change in the meniscus growth after a certain point. I have even increased the simulation time to verify this but the meniscus does not change after a certain point.
